Introduction

I spent the summer of 2003 working at a restaurant in Blue Hill, Maine. Chef Mike Menge cooked up a batch of this special flavor enhancer. Add a tablespoon or more to your favorite soups and sauces to make the flavor pop!

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer 5 minutes, then cool and refrigerate.

Serving

Add to soups and sauces to enhance flavor.
